I had an absolute ball of a time even though I looked knackered for most of it. You pitched it at just the right level for me physically and surpassed what I would normally do technically. I got home Sat evening and unpacked the bike...two choices, 'strip and clean' or 'build and ride'...silly question really! Went out Sunday morning and did the black runs at Drumlanrig... absolutely creamed the trails.....cleared everything that usually gives me grief and did the whole thing in a oner.....never come close before. JH Bucks Nov 06 We landed back in the uk on tuesday after a fantastic long weekends riding with Jim & John of SeasonallyUnadjusted. It was our second trip with them and we're already working out the flights for next years trip... The first days riding took in the hill and ridge above Alora with Jims sneak line through the cliffs. In the afternoon we took the longhaul up to the Jesus statue with the superb track that winds it way down back to the valley floor. The second day we went up to Johns house which is in a spectacular location up above El Chorro. From there we we hoofed it down through olive groves and then through the fantastic El MOAB section. In the afternoon we came down through the unlikely line directly opposite the lunch resturant. Day 3 was spent on some outstanding technical singletrack with a big mountain feel before a final blast after a huge lunch. If you haven't yet considered spain for a trip you should. If you are considering a trip then you won't do better than booking with SeasonallyUnadjusted. I'm not easily pleased but Jim strikes just the right balance. We'll be back in 2007 (if not before). Please can you also say thanks to Steve and the guys at the guest house. We were all made to feel exceptionally welcome, which gave the whole holiday a perfect edge. I feel a lot more confident on the bike now and feel like i can at least do some of the tight switchbacks I encounter! It was also good to be on a guided holiday with someone who was genuinely a decent nice guy, rather than someone just going through the motions and being polite coz he's being paid to be - you made the trip all the more memorable- so thanks for that as well JB New Zealand Sept 06 ...many thanks for the penultimate part to my birthday.
